HSE Offshore Medic

We now offer HSE recognised and approved Offshore Medic training in Teesside. Persons wishing to work Offshore for the first time can undertake the four week initial Rig Medics course.

Existing Medics can join the two week Rig Medic refresher.

Courses run in conjunction within the local NHS trust and includes placements within various hospital departments.

• Reporting and Recognition
• Occupational Health
• Legal Issues
• Pharmacology
• Dental Examination and First Aid
• Psychiatric Problems
• Diving Emergencies

All training is conducted by fully qualified NHS Doctors, Consultants and Paramedics as well as existing Rig Medics.
