This is a 5 day course aimed at all people involved within the diving industry sector.

- Wound Closure
- Fluid Balance Therapy
- Spinal Injury Management
- Clinical Examination
- Transportation of an injured diver
- Communication and handover
- Roles and Responsibilities
The course also includes a secondment to a local accident and emergency hospital. First Aid Medical have tried to make this course as hands on as possible and students gain experience in the management of injuries and illness from minor to major.
Training is carried out by NHS Paramedics, HSE Offshore Medics and NHS doctors.
Candidates must have HSE First Aid at Work certificate or additional 3 days can be added on to the course for a diver to complete this as well.
Courses can be tailor made to suit individuals and are carried out in Teesside or at employer’s premises throughout the UK.

This is a 4 ½ day course.

Students on this course receive a HSE recognised FAAW certificate as well as a Diver Medic certificate which are valid for three years.
Courses are conducted at Teesside or at employer’s premises throughout the UK.
