Automatic External Defibrillation

This is a 6 hour course aimed at qualified First Aiders who use or may use AED Devices

Courses run within current resuscitation council UK guidelines and include the following

• Recognition of Cardiac Arrest
• Protocols for Cardiac Arrest
• Scene and Rescuer Safety
• Contra Indications to Defibrillation
• Airway Management
• Vital Sign Observations
• Patient Handover
• Management

This course is very much hands on and all students have the opportunity to demonstrate competencies in Defibrillation techniques.

All students receive a certificate which is valid for one year.

Courses can be tailor made to suit individual requirements and can be run at our premises or at employer’s premises UK wide.
